This show has become one of my current favorites. It is getting better each week.

Watch the original Nordic noir series instead.

You keep mentioning those "Nordic noir"... Care to mention their actual names, and where can we watch them?

The original series was called Bron/Broen. Instead of the initial murder taking place on the US/Mexican border on the bridge between El Paso and Juarez, the Swedish version takes place on the border of the bridge between Denmark a Sweden.

I am guessing the use of Nordic Noir refers to Swedish films or TV series along the lines of the original Millennium movies (Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Girl Who Played With Fire, Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest).

I'm in Canada, so if you have Netflix elsewhere you will have to check for yourself.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scandinavian_noir

Scandinavian noir or Scandinavian crime fiction, also called Scandi noir and Nordic noir, is a genre comprising crime fiction written in Scandinavia with certain common characteristics, typically in a realistic style with a dark, morally complex mood, breaking away from the older "whodunit" influenced by the British country house murder mystery.

Yeah I did try Netflix, and it's not available in the US... Shame...
