Hi All,

Has anyone had the opportunity to compare the relative performance of these SOTA streamer / servers in their systems and/or in a friend or dealer’s system? If so, would greatly value folks impressions.

For context, my current digital signal path is Reiki SuperSwitch PRO/PRO Extreme > Reiki JundoStream USB > Aurender N30SA > Goebel USB > MSB ProUSB > MSB Cascade.

Understand that owners and dealers of said streamers can feel impassioned about their choices, so please feel free to PM me if you’d prefer not to share your opinions in private. Thanks in advance!

We have been talking about this on the dCS forum, with conversation following the initial post by the dCS Program Manager.
The majority of dCS users, including Vivaldi and Varese, are not using 3rd party streamers, preferring instead the built in functionality dCS provides. Even those who have purchased external streamers sometimes question their worth.

As always your mileage may vary.

The the two products are fine to try but know one is Linux and one is Windows . What I would do is ask on these forums not about sound but about the process each uses.
I've heard both and good products . Cost and how long one needs to pay and wait is also a valid statement to ask each.
Basically each is a desktop computer in a better case and each does have some level of proprietary software and power . Linux is a much more versatile
Software platform. Uses much less CPU power.
Way back Linux was easy to pick out and windows too.
Now each OS is much closer .
Pink has been around a while as is taiko but was less flash until more recently .
I hope this helps in it's basic ideals to help you.

Way back when msb had CD transport and streamer well made stuff
But no more and not just them and this is also a valid point to ask too.

Thanks, gentlemen. My apologies, as I responded thanking you for you input a week ago but evidently my reply got lost in cyberspace.
