Seattle Area Audiophiles: Hot Java Cool Jazz - March 22nd

Hot Java Cool Jazz, the Annual High School jazz showcase sponsored by Starbucks is happening at the Paramount Theater, March 22nd. http://www.starbucks.com/seattle/events/hot-java-cool-jazz

All proceeds go directly to the jazz programs and it's a great night of music for only $20 a ticket. Many of the bands will be participating in the Ellington competition in NY later this spring.

I know that the Newport Jazz I band features many students who will be attending top level collegiate music programs and I am sure that many musicians in the other programs will be attending top conservatories.
