Roy Gregory of Gy8 names Clarisys Audio Atrium/VAC/Kronos System Best in Munich High-End 2025!

My understanding is that no one can buy advertising space on GY8. I think Roy is in a position to call it like he truly hears it.

Agree with Roy on that. I rate WE/Silbatone very highly this year also. Best two systems for me.

No surprise here. The Clarisys Atrium room at FLAX 2025 was among the best of show imo. System included fewer VAC amps, Pink Faun Dual Ultra/MSB Cascade providing the digital source & VPI (iirc) for the analog. An extraordinary performer at FLAX.

It is rather strange that while Roy Gregory mentions the Gobel/Riviera Audio Laboratories room as one of the best sounding rooms of the Munich highend show 2025, he did not specify that Tripoint Audio participated in that set up with three ‘grounding’ stations and 10 Emperor signal filters (four of the latter on the Riviera preamp and one on each Riviera monobloc!). Why did he not mention Tripoint Audio at all?

Because nobody mentioned them to me. Comprehensive system lists get to read a bit like laundry lists so I don't always mention every last nut and bolt. Having said that, I know how powerful the TriPoint pieces are: 13 in one system is always going to make a serious contribution and certainly helps explain the sheer clarity of what was one of the most lucid sounds on show.

Agree with Roy on the Clarisys system - stunning clarity but still great emotional engagement, and for huge speakers, they didn't blow everything completely out of proportion.
Disagree on the smaller Gobels though - sounded as if they were trying too hard, and this from someone who loves the Riviera signature sound.
