Ordering a Bokrand Tonearm

So I have received my tonearm: however, not the promised free upgraded Sonoro, but the older model, packaged in carboard box with some foam. However, the quality of the build is very questionable to say the least. Besides some visual defects there might be some more serious technical problems.
After installing it I tried it with the Denon 103r and could not adjust the antiskating properly - there was way too much antiskating even on the lowest setting. The tonearm just swings back to the edge of the record. I can feel it physically pushing back when I guide it towards the center. Have anyone had similar problems with the antiskating?
This is even more frustrating, after 2 years you don't get the free upgrade as promised and you get a defectuous product. More hassle sending it back etc... Did you manage to contact Alfred about this?
Fwiw, mine came shipped the same way, cardboard box, styrofoam and foam, but it arrived safely.
Good luck to get this fixed/swapped out with an upgraded version.

If you are not satisfied, send me the tonearm and you will get your money back, no problem.

These tonearms are copies of the old Ortofon AS-212 also used on Telefunken S500 and S600 turntables in an OEM variant. For these it´s a known issue that the magnet used for antiskating gets loose because of drying out old glue. If that happens on these oldtimes you can get into quite similar trouble with antiskating when the magnet reaches out a position nearer to the shaft.

However a tonearm with a non or wrong working antiskating is defect and needs to be returned to the manufacturer. But with so many broken promises (delivery time, free upgrade to SONORO specs as a compensation) I understand the lack of trust into a complaint and delivery of a working tonearm as promised before (including the free upgrade).

you must know!!!!

Have you ever held one of my tonearms in your hands? If not, you should keep quiet. The AS-212 tonearm was among the top of its class at the time, according to the HiFi magazine "Stereoplay." The telefunken S 600/500 tonearms was made by the renowned german test magazine
"Stereoplay" 1978
In the ... "top class". Rated

all my Ortofon 12 "tonearms are based on the Ortofon/Telefunken AS-212. the Telefunken AS-212 was manufactured by Ortofon for Telefunken and differs in important details from the Ortofon AS-212

I only use the pillar and the head, everything else is redone by me and the magnets are also replaced with high-quality neodymium magnets

Well, even if the tonearm is delivered delayed or after two years, his customers will at least have to complain about the accrued interest loss. Same with customers refunded late. So, as long as no extra money is included with the delivery or refund, his tender would be fulfilled any time the delivery was significantly delayed. So, I´d rather think it doesn´t matter how long it takes but definition of the damage which counts for getting the reward is missing. Most likely this is the reason for the reward not beeing paid out so far. ;)
What are you talking about interest loss? What about the increase in value of the tonearm in the two years? It now costs more than the few euros I got for it before.

I've often seen online that customers have sold their used tonearms for more than they paid for them!!!
