Mono vs Stereo

which do you guys prefer and why? I have a stereo table and love it, a buddy of mine has both and we compared some albums other day and his mono table does things the stereo table does not, thoughts?

Mono has rarely done for me.

If a stereo master is done well, mono pales in comparison. Only way to still be giddy about mono is if said material is only available in Mono or the stereo master is mediocre
