Microsoft Office available now for iPad (and later Android?) For Free!

Rumors of this had been going on but with previous management at Microsoft, there was a chance of it getting vetoed at the top. Great to hear them making the right call.

Seems easier to use in some cases than on the PC!

Amazing that they are not charging for it.

I think this is the first time I have complimented my ex employer in a long time .

So as expected, nothing is really free from Microsoft. The apps are free and you can view others' documents but require cloud subscription to create your own or edit anyone's...
