MC 250 ,.. Mono ?

I am using a 250 in stereo , but I feel I need more power . I am considering procuring another 250 , and run them bridged mono into 8 ohms per amp .
Will the 250 be stable in mono at 8 ? Or will it turn into a space heater ?
