Please consider, manual for AF3 and AF3P is in some points different.

Setup both in December. There small differences in Set up.

I'm thinking about buying the Premium Rigid as an alternative turntable. However, it is unclear to me how often the filters need to be replaced. I haven't found any conclusive information on this yet!

Which filter do you mean? The sealing lips of the plate? Or you mean the pump?

The TechDas turntables are maintenance-free

If AF pump similar to Micro seiki pump in any way, i wouldn't worry about filters at all.

But it's interesting what inside the AF pump/psu box.

There are three 1 micron filters on my turntable/air pump. One on the intake and 2 on the exhaust. Otherwise, due to the air bearing tonearm, the air bearing itself from the platter is not critical, especially not on the TD turntable, because it has even greater tolerances than mine.

Thanks for your feedback, in the meantime I have decided against the TechDAS and opted for a Kuzma XL DC!
