thought about getting some for my Melco tt
am about to order a custom 50kg ss plinth for 4 arms and thought theese might be an interesting solution to floorborne vibrations

or even theese

I would not bother with maglev stuff! I tried the heavy duty will spike ones some 12 yrs ago under my TT they were quite detrimental also tried the ones you have linked to, no good as well under various ancillaries.
As I have had my TT for some 30 yrs, I find the airbladder as in the photo to be highly effective in opening up the soundscape like I would have never believed, all for approx £20 ! You could try the same if you were to get 2 platforms and experiment, the cushion will take over 100 kg.BTW it makes a mockery of the Goldmund mechanical spike on the TT stand, lol.

Thxs for useful input
Have lab grade pneumatic platform but it leaks and does not isolate footsteps despite additional measures done

I have tried a couple of magnetic isolation products in the past and for my part do tend to concur.
Yeh, you just dont want strong magnets anywhere near your beloved kit, sooo detrimental !! The will spike footers etc act like springs anyway.
IMHO of course.

Could you please expand a bit upon the construction, not much is seen from the pic. And why are there spikes too?
The spikes allow me to slide in the airbladder to the desired position, it is then inflated so the spikes/platform is lifted a few millimeters above the lower platform, the TT platter is accurately leveled by the TT pillars/suspension which rotate for this. The inbuilt TT bubble level is then zero in and just serves as a reference if the bladder has deflated a little, approx 4 wks or so, then just inflate slightly again when required.

I already have 8 of the socalled airsprings lying around from the time I used them under my Wison Audio Watt/Puppies
will try them again----
RS components 688-486
So whats wrong with trying what I suggest in trying above? You could do it with just one platform or a 40 mm offcut wooden kitchen worktop @ say 500 mm x 500 mm. If you like make another and then try your audio rack with ancillaries on top also !

nothing wrong...I´ve been through wheelbarrow wheel tubes and the lot in my earlier career :D
the whole rack is standing on Rubloc Trisolators which reduced floorborne vibes a lot, but not enough
The Melco is also on a Spears Robertson pneumatic platform, but still not effective enough
the total weight incl riaa and cd player is about 260kg
Melco and SR pneumatic mount is about 100

Leif,
Would you be able to share your experience with Fabreeka PLM1 footers under your TT?
Thank you
