Dear music lovers,
I can buy these speakers for 250 euro.
The amps are mono tubes 60 Watt each. Wil this combination work?
Do they give yes or no enough bass for jazz.
Kind regards,
Wil

I called a repair service. If the mid and low has to repaired the costs are 400-500 euro.
Some are glued with the wrong matarial. Then the high tones are not repairable.
When the hight's are oke and mid low not, is it worth to repair them?

The good news is, I may try this speakers two weeks for free. That's very kind from the seller.
And he has a pair of Final electrostatic speakers for sale. In short I know what type.

Will old electr. speakers mostly have to be survised? Is Magnepan a safer brand?

Assuming it is currently in good order it is virtually bulletproof. Even we owners perform such foolhardy mods such as defeating the fuses.

No the amps. Didn't work. I now have a huge Ayre power amp. 2x300 Watt/4 Ohm.
The bass is better then I thought.
