No bargains in London anymore, even the charity shops wised up long ago.
Rough Trade East is a great shop to visit in Spitalfields near Liverpool Street Station and The City. All new but you might catch a great band playing live
Vintage Vinyl is around the corner in Brick Lane
Spitalfields is well worth the trip, vibrant, lively area these days

Thx much . Will check out the area. Sorry to hear about the record scene. Thought used lps would be rockin. I have Elton’s albums on DJM. Was hoping for some UK pressings.

You'll likely find them, there are stores about. Just noting that if desirable you're unlikely to find records at bargain prices anymore (and you'll need to be careful to check condition even at high asking prices).
There are a couple of good s/h record stores out our way, NW of London. The Record Store in Amersham & Deco Audio in Aylesbury both set their prices largely by Discogs and grade their records reasonably. Amersham is end of the Met Line so easy to get to from central London. Deco you'd want a car
If you are going to Brick Lane and Rough Trade, a walking distance round the corner is Sister Ray in Shoreditch.
If you go to the West end, then you have record shops galore.
Depends where you are staying but there is still a half a dozen record stores in Soho all within walking distance of Shaftesbury ave. Sister Ray, Sounds of the Universe, Phonecia, Third Man, Reckless, Rough Trade, Fopp.
