If the Atlantic 3 TRP is indicative, and I’m sure it is, the answer is an emphatic yes, go get it. Engine 11 is the real deal all around. Just give it a good 200+ hours (I’ve pulled the tubes each night and run burn in files from my Oppo to expedite the process).

ANNOUNCEMENT:

All good things must come to an end.

We've tried to keep the trade in program going as long as we can, but effective October 1, 2022 we are going to have to suspend both our trade in program as well as our upgrade program. Trade ins will be suspended until further notice and upgrades will likely resume in Q1 of 2023.

If you have been on the fence about an upgrade or trade in you may consider this "last call" and please hit me up as soon as possible.

Best,

Fred A.

A postscript to the latter announcement is that the Big 7, along with the GG and Pacific, have been moved to Legacy status, no longer to receive further updates beyond Engine 11 and only available as a custom order. The site’s explanation emphasizes production efficiency, although I’ve also heard speculation that it has to do with the difficulty of getting good, reliable tubes.
