So here's my setup. Im only listing the 2 channel portion
Marantz av 8802 mk2 Pre/pro (or whatever the new version is called)
NAD Master M27 amp
Cambridge Azur 752 disc
Usher cp8571 diamnd
So this system works for my home-theater setup but I would like more refined 2 channel performance
So my thought is add something like the Exogal Comet or Wadia 321 (322) using the digital out of my Cambridge as source, This gives me upnp streaming from my NAS into the new DAC, I hook up the output of the DAC to the Balanced XLR on the NAD amp, The Marantz stays hooked up to the rca inputs. On the NAD you have a switch on the back for each channel XLR or RCA ( very easy to get at in my case). I cant think of a down side to this as it lets me use one system for 2 channel or home theater. But Im a newbie to the whole dac side of things. The 2 dacs I named are not my final choice just an example of some Ive seen highly rated and at the top of my budget LOL though that always seems like a moving target
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated
Cheers
