Hi folks, I am looking for a preamplifier with high enough gain to drive my just acquired SIT-3 (that had just 11db of gain itself I think).
At this stage, unless it proves impossible, I’d like this preamp to include a high quality phono stage and a volume remote control.
I assume pre/amp impedance output and input matching is an important consideration, but I am not sure to understand how to look at specs and be able to tell...
Most importantly this preamp would do full justice to the quality of timbres and musical flow of the SIT3.
Thank you for your suggestions!

There is a simple answer to that- Supratek Cortese preamp.
Has high gain and excellent phono section.

Sorry, didn’t see it, as someone had already mentioned it.

A used Narga PL-L or PLP would be a nice match. Lots of gain and low output impedance for a tube preamp. I am still using my PL-L in a second system. It has some longevity.

I just purchased a SIT-3 from Reno Hifi. It think it’s going to be a great match with my Lamm LL2.1 Deluxe.
I have one on the way as well.. Last batch of the SIT-3 amps to be produced, 10 left from what I was told.
why not.
