I have a number of copies of this album, most with the blue cover and the bird. But this copy appears to be a promo copy, on heavier vinyl, with a printed japanese insert page. What is it, just a promo version? How common?

very unusual unless its mastered from a tape copy of the D2D session. ive had maybe a half dozen copies of Lew Tabackin trackin' over the years and never seen that jacket. Its a pretty dynamic record, huh?

Haven't listened to it in years, I have piles and piles of those audiophile spectacular records, crazy drums, etc. that I don't listen to. interesting, if you've never seen it, since you know ****-loads more than moi about the collectible stuff. thnx for responding, rob.
