Odd that he decides to hang himself a few days after he is acquitted of another murder charge. Not something I'll lose sleep over.

I know people who have committed suicide. One of them talked about how it would be done for thirty years, never saying when it would be done, rather saying how she felt about her situation and life at the time that would be her motivation to carry it out. She even had a code phrase for it when it came up in discussion. Finally she had enough and went through with it.

It's a big step to end one's life.

I would hardly call it "the easy way out".

While Hernandez would never be taken as a paragon of virtue.. his demise is a sad ending to a even more sad story: Wasted Talent, wasted Human lives both his and the victim's. Too easy to cast aspersions without knowing the facts.

Odd ? He had a life w/o parole regardless of this acquittal. After living the high life, suicide should not be a surprise. POS he was....

Deep depression when the scales are all the way down on one side and to be on top of the world at one time.....losing it all, I doubt it was a hard choice for him.
