Yeh, watching that made me almost, almost want to buy one of these OLEDs. Thankfully sanity returned and I still have the money in my pocket :).

They're beautiful, no question and I'd love one. Get to the point of a 50" for $2,500 and I might consider it.

Is this the final nail in a the coffin of the large Japanese manufacturers no longer innovators and market leaders in TV?

What are Sony, Panasonic, Sharp and Toshiba doing in this space?

You're right...the momentum seems to be with Korean manufacturers! The Japanese kicked RCA, Zenith and the like to the curb and now this........China next?

Samsung is an innovator, a leader in many things electronics/visuals wise. ...And their team of designers are extremely talented; their products are getting solider and solider (performance, value, build, and look wise).

New York, Manhattan, Times Square, Wall Street, the NASDAQ exchange are going to replace all their Panasonic TVs with Samsung ones (LCD LED for OLED).

Time to download those Apple & Panasonic shares and start stocking with them Samsung ones. ;)
