The Leafs have been sold out for every game over the past 60 years or more and season tix are almost impossible due to the waiting list. IIRC the team is now owned by the local teachers' union who have no motive to create a better team as a result.

Seems to me the last time the Leafs were contenders were in the Punch Imlach era back in the 60's

Haven't mistresses and open extra-marital affairs been not unusual? If I'm wrong I apologize, and it wasn't really meant as a criticism, I kind of admire it, less hypocritical if you ask me. OTOH, I'm afraid Mayor Ford's behavior in the last week or so has really gone beyond the pale.

The only extra-marital affair I'm aware of could be Margaret Trudeau's alleged fling with Mick Jagger. It doesn't much matter and no offense was taken or would be taken.
