Don't go on this kind of "vacation!"

Just showed Amir's original post to our daughter who works for one of the Malaria research places in Seattle. She immediately said he must have attracted the "bone crushing fever" that is another name for the Dengi fever before she saw the later updates. She also said the foot infection with fever meant his blood was also infected, and he could have died from it. Thus, he is lucky if there's any consolations from the saga.

---Did you guys (& gals) heard about the two young French sisters Belanger?
...Both found dead in their hotel's room in Thailand (Phi Phi Island) where they were vacationing! ...20 and 26 years old only!

That is now five young women found dead on that island! Seems like food poisoning, but they don't have the certainty.

Do you want a link? Or can you google it? ...It just happened yesterday (or the day before).
It is a tragedy of the saddest proportions.
