Dirac live vs Acourate vs Audiolense

My knowledge of DSP and any related software is too limited to dare choosing Acourate-and FAR less so Audio Weaver that processor may require. https://danvillesignal.com/the-dspnexus-2-8-with-adsp-21569-and-ak4499ex-is-shipping

But have those experienced with Dirac Live know if and how it may have since been further improved? https://www.dirac.com/live/rcs/ https://www.dirac.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/DL-Processor-Guide.pdf

And if not DSPNexus, what might likely be the best sounding processor to use Dirac with it for room correction, multisub bass management and my (passively crossed) main speakers?

I wish this forum enabled multiquoting as I also wanted to ask users of DIRAC, Acourate and Audiolense if they have had any issues using JRiver for simple stereo WAV file playback over systems using that bass management and room correction software. For example, any high SPL transients from any JRiver hang ups? And does JRiver also have a transparent sounding pitch control? I often need this for musical selections.

Also, on a scale of one to ten, how much would it be worth learning how to use Acourate (assuming I could actually get past its learning curve) to equalize a pair of passively crossed main speakers to my room and my three Rythmik F12 subs, versus doing so using Dirac Live?

I had no issues with either Acourate or AudioLens and J River. Those packages had pretty steep learning curves to get to good filters. Most of us are better off paying an experienced third party to do their filters.

Dirac is much easier to implement decently, at least with the newer amps and processors with Dirac built in.

IMO it’s not much different than paying someone to assist with cartridge or room setup. Both of those are easy to do at a “just ok level” and hard to master.

I had good luck in two different systems with Mitch Barnett’s service. He made it easy to integrate with both Roon and separately HQ Player, so I’d’ assume J River would not prove problematic.
