Anyone use aftermarket fuses in a solidstate amp's output-stage DC rails?

Seems to me that if a fuse has a sonic character, using a better fuse in those positions shound be audible.

Well checking the premise is the key here.
If a rod of copper has no sonic character then that would not be audible.
But I think with skin effect, even a silver or copper rod might have a characters.

Basically I would not fret about it at all..
