Anyone heard the new HzProject HzCore Roon Core?

It was on display in the Mon Acoustics room one day at THE Show in Organce County. I'm not sure it was being used as the Roon Core. It was very cool looking. It is rather interesting that they don't show the back of the unit, and don't list the connectors on the website.

Yes, HzCORE is available in the European market, Canada and a couple of Asian markets after the premiers at AXPONA 2024 and HIGH END MUNICH 2024. I expect, it will be available soon in the US market, too.

HzCORE was in action at AXPONA 2024 (Mon Acoustics' room) and I heard, it was demoed in the other show (probably in Orange County, I guess). In HIGH END MUNICH 2024, it fed Vitus and Thrax Roon-ready amplifiers, running YG Acoustics Vantage 3.

Actually, it is the 2nd generation for the international market while the 1st generation was introduced in the late 2022 in the South Korean market only.

As the Roon Core, its primary connection is via-ethernet while it has USB ouputs to work with DACs.

There was another HzCORE in frost grey finish out of the picture, actually feeding 3 different Roon-ready streamers (Vitus or Thrax, Hifi Rose and one more) via ethernet connection in the exhibition.

Website is working yet from time to time, I personally experienced (and got reported) such cases while others had no issue in accessing.

I have investigated but I have no clue.

Now, I am in AXPONA Chicago.

One of the US dealers plans to demo HzCORE in his room (1402 / Musical Artisians). I will share the news later.

Lovely bit of industrial design. Might just get one to look at. Very pretty inside as well, but looks like an OEM processor with added PSU, clock, SSD, so nothing terribly new. In fact pretty standard.

Never seen any need for anything special to run Roon Server, has always been on a QNAP or Mac Mini (the latter to accommodate HQ Player).
