Anyone found a good "universal" remote?

I'm looking for a tasteful, good-feeling programmable remote to perform just a few basic functions: turning on and off my (Modwright) integrated amp, adjusting the volume, and selecting inputs; waking up my dCS Lina DAC and maybe selecting input; and possibly turning on and off and selecting display options for my HiFi Rose RS130 transport.
I'd prefer something that's not too small and that's probably machined aluminum.
Anyone using anything you're happy with?
Thanks.

On eBay you can find some excellent remote controls from Logite's Harmony series, especially the Elite, with its external ABE, which allows you to duplicate all the functions even from your phone by connecting to Wi-Fi. Although they are no longer produced, they have incorporated all possible devices, and those that are not present can be duplicated with the learning function. For about €150, you can get a remote control that you will use for a lifetime. If I remember correctly, you can charge up to ten devices and you can also program the frequency switching on of a group of devices, also selecting a specific input of your preamplifier amplifier. With this function, I have programmed the entire switching on of an audio-video system with an integrated amplifier, video streamer, and projector. Or alternatively, even the switching on of my stereo system (streamer, DAC, preamplifier with dedicated input selection, and power amplifier) always simultaneously. I can also control the house lights to create the right atmosphere while listening to music.

If you want something that can be programmed, works, and is cheap, find the Chungchop L336 three device remote on Amazon. Made of plastic, which is not what you’re looking for, but it’s cheap and it works.
