Antipodes Oladra vs K50 vs Pink Faun Scion?

Additionally, based on my recent experience, using a great server is no less dramatic than upgrading your DAC - it can transform your current digital setup into a remarkably more refined and engaging listening experience with improved detail retrieval, soundstage width, and overall musical coherence.
My experience with Antipodes and hearing the impact of a friend’s Taiko Extreme turned me into a “source first” believer.

Thank you all for your replies.

My asking about the Scion to Oladra was more about price point. (Scion once upgraded $25k to Oladra's $29k).

I think I am going to see if I can find a used Ultra 2.16, as that seems to be the best bang for the buck. I remembered I had a Lumin X1 in a system that I was not using, and tried swapping my NDX2 and ND555, but I did like the presentation of the Naim better. Just seemed more natural. I would assume the same would be from the ND555 to the Ultra 2.16, as it just gets a bit better.

I wish there was a big audio showroom locally that the people weren't such jerks.

Going with the oladra. Seems to be the objective best overall for the money. We will see, I'll post once I have done listening time.
I listened to several DACs in my system. In my system, going from the Antipodes K21/K41 combination to the Oladra is more significant of an improvement than any DAC that I've listened to. I don't want to exaggerate, but the Oladra is 3-dimensional(great spacing), detailed without brightness, and has great tonality. Despite the cost, along with adding subwoofers, it's one of the better audio purchases for my system.

Thank you for the feedback. I am greatly looking forward to hearing it. I have read so much hype about it, hoping its all true!

How easy do you find the OS to be? I have read mixed reviews on it but it doesnt seem terrible. Any sonic differences between Roon, Squeeze, and HQ Player?

I second the recommendation above about Antipodes own forum. Lots of interesting observations shared.

My own opinion is that 1) the OS is intuitive and super simple to use and 2) Squeeze is easily the best sounding option.

Roon has the best UX so I use it for musical discovery. I use Squeeze for playing music that’s already in my library.

Has anyone compared the Wadax Studio Player to the Antipodes Oladra?
