My speakers for my laptop have always been cheapo 2.0 or 2.1 systems designed for such a purpose. The other day I bought a Infinity BU-80 subwoofer for $16 from Goodwill. So, I decided to upgrade my laptop stereo system based on that subwoofer. I am awaiting shipment on a pair of NHT Super 1 speakers and a NAD 3155 integrated amp, which has been cleaned and tested by the seller. I am hoping this setup will be adequate for me to listen to my customer's Youtube clips that feature my electric guitar pickups. Plus, it will also serve as background music as I play Pandora through this system as I work. I suspect it will make listening to various musical performances on Youtube more enjoyable as well. This will replace an Altec Lansing ACS495 2.1 system.
