Our room is large, open, with hard floors and no window treatments. The home is 4 years old, contemporary, and clearly curtains would be a no-go. Zero WAF.
I'm thinking that I MIGHT gain some traction suggesting roller shades (we use those in the bedrooms) -- but with material that significantly helps the room echo issues.
Any suggestions for manufacturers? Hunter-Douglas, a common go-to source here in the States, doesn't seem to have the right fabrics.
NOTE: I see quite a few 'acoustic fabric' suppliers, and contractors that do industrial/commercial spaces. I may have to see if one of the typical residential window treatment companies do custom shades where either they source one of these fabrics or I provide it.
