A Glimpse of the Trident ll

Having heard the Mojo and the Pantheon at Philip O'Hanlon's house I received an invite yesterday to come back for a first look and audition of the Trident ll of which only 2 exist so far in the USA. The speaker was just delivered 2 days ago and is going through the burn in process. What I heard tyesterday however seemed very promising as there was great ease in the presentation as well as lots of air around the notes.

I also thought the speaker really nailed the reproduction of piano as well as string instruments. More to follow. This speaker is a beast in size

Amazing that they made a speaker that looks very much like Steve Williams. Very impressive they gave it two legs- obviously for more stability. What is the tall black thing next to the 2-legged speaker?

You need to set the speaker up properly, then it's very pleasant and entertaining. Else can get shouty
