    Taiko Audio Extreme Router

Ed jumped in right away and provided the solution. I needed to uninstall/reinstall XDMS on my iPad and re-enter my credentials. Thank you once again, Ed, for your quick response and help!

    Taiko Audio Extreme Router

The restarts didn't fix the issue. XDMS does have the new IP address. I'll contact support now.

    Taiko Audio Extreme Router

Hmmm, when I try to change the IP, the Settings screen behaves the same as the Qobuz screen. However, if I change local file albums, the Settings screen returns appears normal but misbehaves when I attempt to change the IP.

    Taiko Audio Extreme Router

Thank you, nenon. Yes in XDMS. Do you think this issue would disappear if I used Roon instead? I will try what you recommend.

    Taiko Audio Extreme Router

Following the installation of my router and DSD yesterday I can play local files but can't play from either Tidal or Qobuz. I'm on the Taiko wifi, the firmware is up to date, and I have logged off and back on both streaming services. The Qobuz and Tidal screens show up but are not populated...

Pacific dac: Lampizator's new top of the line dac

Fairly new Pacific owner here. The heater selector knob on the back of my Pacific rotates counterclockwise without an end stop. It does stop at each tube selection point but will keep going around continuously. There is a stop going clockwise. I'm concerned that now I don't really know...

Introducing Olympus & Olympus I/O - A new perspective on modern music playback

Emile, I'd like to better understand the advantage Option 4 offers vs. Option 3. I recall in this discussion Option 4 offers a 10-15% improvement in sound performance for the reasons explained. Beyond the performance improvement are there other reasons to add the Olympus O/I such as the...

Introducing Olympus & Olympus I/O - A new perspective on modern music playback

Are the router, switch, and DCD still utilized as before with #3 Olympus or #4 Olympus + Olympus I/O, or are any of the functions incorporated in Olympus? With either #3 and #4 Olympus options can you start with the memory you have and later upgrade to the improved memory? Can you start with...

Is I2S the planned interface between XDMI and the Lampi Horizon? What is the planned interface between XDMI and the Lampi Poseidon which doesn't have I2S AFAIK?

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Thank you Emile for installing the update. I haven't yet toggled to Roon but I hear a meaningful and positive improvement in XDMS. I'm sure we all appreciate you including the XDMS upgrade along with the Roon fix. Many Thanks to the Taiko team for the quick response!

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Is anyone else still waiting for the chrome router/distributor they ordered before June? I followed up with support for the first time three weeks ago and was told it would ship out in the next 1-3 weeks.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I'm planning to keep my Roon Nucleus + up and running to handle all the other Non- Extreme Roon devices throughout the house. I'll need to switch cores between it and the Extreme and won't be able to play everything all at once (though that would be pretty fun to do) but I'm looking forward to it.

OK, I submitted the support request and it's on a 24hr. response cycle. Hope the money doesn't burn a hole in my pocket before then.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I used Wise with the different account number provided by Emile a couple of days ago and everything seems to have worked. I hadn't realized the euro has appreciated over the last month or so.

It seems you could switch between the two by changing SFP+ modules from RJ45 to fiber.

My order is in! I can't wait.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

That makes sense and I recall that now. I mixed up an earlier post from Emile today about RJ45 being his preferred input but on looking again that was for the new router. So I'm hoping to relocate the earlier discussion about ordering RJ45 vs.fiber input to the new switch.
