Best of luck with that plan. Having perused the app and the layout/logistics of all the brands and exhibitors: where they are, their distance from each other and how they are grouped by the organizers in the app, that's going to be one helluva task getting the most out of the show.
There was a time not so long ago when WestMinsterLabs, as a brand, was not on audiophiles' shortlists, let alone even exist.. My, how so much can happen in a short space of time. I now know personally of several installations and that, at least, tells me something. The gear, not just its sonics...

Some numbers for those curious: 221 actual rooms (including the larger rooms on the 1st floor and Mezzanine level),

Some Housekeeping. if the folks at AXPONA keep this up, good on them, I won't have to do this work anymore aggregating the PDF file.
Visit this link: https://axpona.com/exhibitors/. and you will find their OFFICIAL Exhibitor Spreadsheet. And if you look closely you'll see that they too do not...
Early bird access to the PDF, officially goes public on April 1st:
AXPONA 2024 By Floor and Room/Booth
PS, if any information is missing, it's not for lack of diligence on my part, exhibitors/brands/manufacturers have to make timely updates via AXPONA's website CMS, Content Management System"...
I’ve just been censored on an Australian HiFi Forum, apparently when commenting on speakers it’s not good form to comment “I liked the FINISH”
#happyending #toosubtle #toosoon?
Synth-pop, Disco, Nu-Funk with a SERIOUS George Michael ViBE!!!!
Apply SERIOUS CRANK and get your badass down on the dance floor.
So wonderfully retro and simultaneously timely.
I heard the Songer speakers last year in California and would like to hear them at AXPONA but from what I gather I don't see them exhibiting as of yet. I understand there is a new model. The funny thing is that all the folks I speak to about this brand are torn between the open baffle and closed...
I was asked about my decision not to employ subwoofers, and in my particular situation: room size/dimensions, along with the English Acoustic 41C valve/tube amplifier there's just no need. The amplifier maintains a vice-like grip on the bass. It's as if the two were designed for each other. I...
I'm one of those folks enamoured with the Wolf von Langa SON speakers. My avatar is taken from a photograph of the cabinet. The finish on my pair is simultaneously intoxicating and unique.
Colin King, Wolf Von Langa's US importer, came by mine back in early December to assist me with the...
For those of you who are curious, those who did not attend this past weekend's Bristol HiFi Show 2024 in the United Kingdom, some very "Hi-End" folks posted a rather long and extensive video of the show. Honestly, they went everywhere, visiting just about every room, booth and crevice of the...
Letting folks know that I'm busier than ever monitoring the additions and changes to the AXPONA 2024 line-up, and I guarantee that by April 1st (NO JOKE) the first PDF will be available. I will provide a link to the two versions: 1: from the bottom floor to the top floor and the expo halls and...
I disavow any knowledge on any subject matter, hi-fi or otherwise.
That being said the latest NAR is live, so if you're looking out for new music/album releases plant yourself here:

This DIY Lampucera video on YouTube might be of interest to all of you who are digging deep into DACs, perhaps for some perspective on what goes into them, as well as their evolution:

Kudos to the use of "recipe" rather than "engine" (sic).

In the last segment, he talked about different brands of capacitors and sizes, and one of his crew swapped out capacitors for larger ones in his Lampizator Baltic 3.
Granted, I have to/want to believe that the internal construction has evolved exponentially since this EARLIER design, but by how...
And yes with all that, not only a stereo amplifier, but an integrated one as well. It all boils down to design philosophy and the degree to which integrity may or may not be compromised.
Yes but a Google Translate extension added to your browser will enable you to read the entire review and get most of the gist, . Certain idioms will get lost in translation.
For whatever reason, I woke up far too early and having nothing better to do I turned to YouTube, as one does, and on my home page the video I'm posting below at the top of the suggested video list. It was informational, to say the least:
DIY: Lampucera
When I was living full-time in London, I would take a page out of Michael Portillos's playbook and his Great Railway Journeys. He used Bradshaw's Guide to explore "Blighty" whilst I relied on my mate Graham Jones' books: Last Shop Standing, The Vinyl Revival ... and Strange Requests ... to map...
