Trafomatic Audio single-ended done right, courtesy of Serbia's answer to Kondo

Hear This is celebrating its fourth anniversary, and as seekers of innovative brands, is honoured to reintroduce Trafomatic Audio to audiophiles in the United States.

To commemorate this milestone, Hear This introduces Sasa Cokic's latest creation: the Elysian GM-70-powered monoblocks. For this model, Sasa hand-winds and tests each transformer. Each monoblock delivers 65 watts per channel in parallel single-end mode, making them versatile enough to drive a wide array of the world’s finest loudspeakers.

Complementing its bigger brother, the Elysium pictured below, the intention is to rival the Elysium’s sonic qualities and properties in a more approachable, streamlined package.

The first stateside Elysian installation will feature them powering Von Schweikert’s Ultra-7 loudspeakers. This coming January, in the Midwest, the Elysians will be showcased powering both Alsyvox planar speakers and a modified pair of Cessaro's, combined with custom bass horns. A date is in the works to present the amplifiers at Hiram Toro’s new Las Vegas showroom, where they will power Odeon Carnegie speakers.

As per usual, if you’re an audiophile yearning to find your end-game amplifier, you are always welcome to contact me via private message, email or that old standby, the telephone. We can then coordinate a dealer demonstration or arrange an in-home audition. Contact information for Hear This is below.

What we would like people to know is that Trafomatic builds its outer shells from tankwood, and each chassis can be custom-painted to suit the customer's taste for a small upcharge. Pictured below is a Tara 30A in a beautiful blue. At this level of play, why not get the look that suits your personality and personal preference?

What is tankwood? Is tankwood similar to panzerholz?

As a fan of Sasa's work I can only say that I'm super excited to see and hear this new amp. The GM70 is my favourite big bottle so this should be very special and I can't wait to get one on the floor over here. Gary and I have seen first hand the craftmanship from Trafomatic from the least expensive amp all the way to the top.
