Lampizator announcement: launch of our all new TOTL HORIZON DAC

It's ok, sorry to confuse you guys. I said "driver tube" because I felt maybe its easy for someone to understand. And yes, you would like to use 6900 to replace 6n6p rather than DHT tubes.

Nope.. Actually I got to know this tube when I was modifying my old preamp. I bought a pair for that preamp and now they are all for Pac, lol. I am not sure about the design of Pac, but it seems to me that driver tubes are probably more significant for Pac than what ppl realize tbh.

You would need a adapter for 6900. And yes as mentioned below, it is used as drivers for DHT. TBH, I was surprised when I got 6900, but not a lot. I have been using it with TAK 300B since I felt they were a good match at the beginning. And now it becomes the only driver tubes I use, probably...

Lampizator announcement: launch of our all new TOTL HORIZON DAC

I have been using 6900 since I got my PAC. It was also used in one of my preamp as well. Don’t even ask questions about these tubes, just use it whenever you can.

Is there any upgrade of USB/clock in Horizon compared to Pacific?

Lampizator announcement: launch of our all new TOTL HORIZON DAC

I am so excited to the new Flagship and I believe Lukasz did a fantastic job on it, definitely going to hear it in the next Florida’s show. and yey to we can still use 6900 on Horizon! but I think it would be kind of nice if we can have no or just one button on the front plate… can we choose to...

Lampizator Valve / Tube Rolling Review Thread

I believe what Lukasz said about NOS and new tubes, and that is basically why I would try to avoid buying additional NOS tubes. However, my limited experience was kind of bad with new tubes (many) and good with the old ones (just a pair and a quad set). Specially for the rect. tube from KR, it...

Lampizator Valve / Tube Rolling Review Thread

I guess you just don't like the feeling of midrange gets pushed forward. You are right, if you can recognize this type of character, you definitely can tell if you are listening to Tak or not. However, I guess it is just true for every other tubes too. For instance, PX25 RK's characters are...

Lampizator Valve / Tube Rolling Review Thread

No, you are right, I didn't. I spent a lot of time just comparing the whole set of Tak vs the set of RK for these days. Just to mention, my rect. for PX25 RK is KR 5U4G (not the RK version). But your point reminds me to have a try with PX25RK+TA-274B. It might work as a better combo.

Lampizator Valve / Tube Rolling Review Thread

It will be my first post in whatsbestforum. I have been reading all the posts according to Lampi DAC since I got my GG2. You guys truly helped me a lot on picking dacs and tubes, but I often got very confused with what Bonzo said about GG/Pacific and TAK tubes because it is opposite to what...
