    Dynaudio Heritage Special

I am auditioning them now, they're incredibly good. My special 40s are now trade bait. This speaker is easily the best monitor I have had the pleasure to listen to. You'd have to spend alot more to get anything better, Wilson Benesch comes to mind. Magico A1s nope, not as smooth and fluid or...

How good is MSB Discrete Dac?

Whats your take on the difference between the Premier/Powerbase and Discrete with 2 supplies? Worth the upgrade or go straight to the reference?

How good is MSB Discrete Dac?

Hope you have some money saved you won't want to give it back. Both power supplies or just one?

How good is MSB Discrete Dac?

I don't regret the money I spent in my discrete, and I had to save for it, these things don't come easy. Being an audiophile I feel like I have a DAC I don't need to swap out for something else out of curiosity to how it sounds. Unless I upgrade to a Premier or Reference. ...Someday maybe, for...

How good is MSB Discrete Dac?

Sorry just seeing this...I love the Discrete with the 2 power supplies. It's a end game DAC for sure, it can be the last dac you own. Smooth, detailed, transient response is incredible (speakers will impact this as well). All I can say is I haven't listened to any recording that sounds bad with...

    Full Loom of Tara

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. I am looking at a demo set of One CX from a reputable dealer. These do not have the grounding station however. I almost never see the .8 come up for sale but can certainly be patient if needed. What do you guys think in terms of system match with my gear?

    Full Loom of Tara

I agree on the break in but one of the cables was broken in completely and that was the one that sounded the worst to me. You can still get a general idea of a cables' tonal character even before full break in. The TQ just wasn't for me. thanks for the suggestion

    Full Loom of Tara

Hello, just curious as I decide which cables to consider what I might expect from a full set of Tara, starting say at the One CX. I have never heard Tara so would love to hear some feedback on your experiences with it. I understand cables or system dependent but still wanted to hear some general...

    MSB or Rockna DAC

Well first impressions of the MSB Discrete DAC: I put it in the system and held back on adding the second power supply so I can fully understand what the second PS will do to the sound...All I can say is this DAC is another level (and it should be for the price diff) compared to the...

    MSB DAC Preamp Volume Levels

I went DAC direct for a while, then got a Class A Integrated and ran my DACs through it...Whoa what a difference. MSB is great, and I am sure their volume control is quality, but nothing beats a true analog volume control, not even MSBs volume.
