Now the $64 question what tonearm works well with these? SME?
Also what's the difference between a TD124 and the MkII ?
I found a Graham 1.5 TC tonearm with the WBT box NIB so I have that on hold.
Any thoughts if this arm is a good match with the Thorens
Hi,
I took a chance on a Thorens TD124MKii and I would like to have it restored. Does anybody have any good experiences with such a company or shop? Thanks
He says he is not actively short Pfizer or Moderna. I am not either but I do use other vehicles to hedge. I do agree with Mr. Dowd and my hedge account is up over 100 pct in the last 30 days. That tells me the "smart money' is selling in a big way despite the Fed trying to prop it up.
Well Dan Z has all the final parts to complete it and we are shooting for this March. I and my brother have just survived Covid so it's up and away from here. I did lose my 98 year old Father to Alzheimer's at the end of January. The last 3 years have been extremely tough. Time to move on. Thank...
My Marantz 10B is doing very well thanks to Richard Modafferi as he messaged me this morning about the restoration he performed. I think I picked the right person.
"Hello,

Well Ron remember the first rule of real estate is location, location, location. Hopefully your location can't really be duplicated,so maybe all your tribulations will be worth something.
When I remodeled my condo and a sub of mine caused the project to be extended for 9 months, which caused me a...
Fed use to be maybe 20 pct Central Bankers. Paul Volcker was the last and Greenspan the first of many lackeys for the Power Structure. I remember seeing Harry Browne at the Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco when I was in high school.Pretty young for a gold bug who read Franz Pick.
Markets use to be better at forecasting economic problems. QE changed all that....black swans surprise markets, but how can you miss a black swan.
Back in the Nixon era C Douglas Dillon and Paul Volcker made a deal with the Chinese. The Big American banks would finance the industrial revolution...
Just a update on the SPX
So I count 5 down from the top. That is the first necessary element for a change of trend for stocks and probably other assets. The top if it has occurred on September 2nd. A bottom is due 55 trading days from that top. Should become apparent in the next 2 weeks.
USD demand will rise as interest rates rise. We are entering a unprecedented time. The Federal Reserve has manipulated short term rates to zero. That will come to a end as debtors and creditors become suspect and that will bring higher rates...increasing demand for the USD. When bubbles burst...
So how will all markets react to medical tyranny? A 5th wave failure in a ending diagonal is very bearish in my experience...just a observation in unprecedented times.
I certainly don't play them loud...although they don't overload the room. Now with the four Klipsch going they certainly can reach overload. The room is 16 x20 and there is a open area with a hallway and a large bath...so there is plenty of space for the sound to vent.
No complaints as I have...
My 1989 Khorns have the composite lenses same as these heresys. The tried and true mid driver is the K55V mine is a K52 Hepner....the 52 is well thought of or so I've been told. I do like the fact that all four use the non metal lens...although I didn't plan it that way. All sound very good...
