    Miyajima Labs Cartridges

Thanks, but: Francois is not a repairer but a middle man - AFAIK he's receiving parcels with pickups to be repaired and sends them to his workers. I have a good experience with Laszlo from Budapest, only that he seemed to doubled (at least) the prices now working under Ana Mighty Sound scheme...

    Tannoy owners

Somehow I feel like there is lots of myth around vintage Tannoys. Sometimes it seems there would be much more good speakers around Tannoy drivers if a similar attention given to Golds or HPDs would be given to drivers such as 3808... 2 cents.

    Miyajima Labs Cartridges

Hello Tom, good to hear from you, hope you are well too in these strange times. Yes now I remember that some time ago you mentioned Killian/Holistic Audio but it slipped my mind. I will contact him tomorrow and start from there. I would need the cantilever for sure and consequently a suspension...

anything based on klipsch is hit and miss, but they can sound terrific if everything assembled right. issues yes but lots of fun, a real get up and go speaker. lots of ppl tend to listen kipsch horns with solid state, it turns them into PA speakers.i've heard khorns in that configuration, it...

    SET amp owners thread

Just wondering if anyone had a chance to hear Tron Voyager DHT SPUD - the minimalistic topology caught my attention, it seems to be 1:4 step up into 20B DHT OPT stage and that's all. I like simple things and Graham Tricker said this is his favorite Tron design.... Would like to hear the...

Best Small Horn speaker? Horn speaker lovers. (Piano sound)

I would recommend the OP to seek for a pair of Earl Geddes (GeddLee) speakers. There are not many but they are, given the compromise of a smaller size, one of the better horns I had a chance to hear. I owned his top model Summa which I liked for how they sounded but given they were DIY, I...

    BD Designs Horn Speakers

Ah, nice to hear. These are very good amps, I regret for selling them. In some ways better than Thomas Mayer 300B I have but overall a different sound. Utterly clean and transparent.
