The teslas need burn in
1 hour on let cool then 2 hours
do this until 5 on this puts you near 20 hours or so. they need time to settle even 30 or 40
the Psvane 6ca7 Cooper base needed this and more to fully open up.

Has anyone had experience installing KR T-100 tubes in a Pacific? These are monster tubes, biggest DHTs I have yet seen. I find they don’t fit easily since their base is so large. How do people who have reviewed the Pacific with this DAC cope with the size issue?

Quite easy if you have a DIY friend...give him your top lid, he takes measures, CNC it from Aluminum, increase the size of the output holes for 5mm, anodize/powder coat in wanted color and voila...no adapter needed and you/friend had some fun on the way...

Socket saver is a no fun option but yes it works like a charm

I run my Pacific with T100s which I ordered from Lampizator after the recommendation of a very early review. They came with riser adapters to fit. I love my Pacific and never did any tube rolling.

Even though the T100s looked very impressive and even a little sexy, compared to several other tubes I have and use, they IMHO underperformed sonically.
Maybe you should do yourself a favour and at least try some other tubes

You were "just" unlucky with your tubes and I'm sorry for you because I also hate it when things break or stop working but there is absolutely no need to blame the DAC for that.
Lampi DACs are extremely easy on the tubes
