Balanced in/out w/ transformer. You need more gain, +4 instead of -10, for professional applications.

Pardon my ignorance but why's that Bruce? Is it just for noise purposes?

I use professional +4 equipment in here and didn't want to start mixing SE in my mastering chain with new protocols, cables and other issues. Been there... not fun.
