From the add in the latest issue of TAS:

OK, please tell me someone is not sitting there curling each one of those wires just so!!! Ok, so the the thing costs $37K. I supposed they think their customers want the wires nice and neat!

If you get a chance, check out a spectral preamplifier too...

You should see Vladimir inspect CDs and LPs before playing. Borderline OCD. ;)

They will probably get a restraining order against this guy if even tried to apply for a job at Spectral or Lamm:

Amir-Have you ever taken a look inside a really old amp or preamp made by Marantz, Leak, Quad, etc.? If you did, you would see the same type of fastidious work in all those products. They almost look like a work of art. They also look like components that were built to military specifications. In fact, in the early days of audio after the war, many of these companies were started or employed veterans with electronic backgrounds so it should be no surprise they built their audio products to near military specifications. Full mil spec gear is quite something to see. The workmanship is beautiful, but it’s done that way for a reason. Give me a product any day that looks like it was built by a craftsman who understood the importance of how wires should be run and how components should be laid out.
