jazdoc, some nice stuff there. However, I was asking IF anyone owned the two LP's that Myles posted. BTW, The Kenny Dorham LP already has a bid...

Ooops, sorry! I'd love to own either and the scary thing is that the asks are not outrageous compared to market.

That's right! Personally, I would much rather own those two than some of the Beatles or Elvis stuff that has been sold for like kind money. I was looking at a Butcher cover the other day and the price for those is still crazy IMO.
OTOH, since I own a LOT of the Beatles stuff, I guess I shouldn't complain, LOL.

A few of us, including Myles, I believe, have the Tape Project release of Saxophone Colossus. Not the original LP, but from the original master tape. I am sure with better sound. And only $500 for a perfect new tape if they still have any.

I have the first pressing of Saxophone Colossus (NYC address label), TP tape, the Analogue Productions 45 rpm reissue and the most recent AP 33 rpm reissue.

A sick mind!

The first pressing was part of a jazz lot I bought from a colleague that was retiring and moving across the country.
