Munich HighEnd 2024

The bigger version .
I like the small clarysis may be even more
I was amazed by the Piccolo at AXPONA 2024. Punches way above its weight class. That is not to say the larger versions are not superior but the performance and musicality of the "entry" level Piccolo is undeniable.

Well, we get to make our choices… Klingon Holodeck looking speakers like the Vivids, or even the Kharmas, as compared to the elegant and beautiful Lorenzo. Must our hobby have so many garish looking speakers?

Ear (and eye) of the beholder and all that, but music is a beautiful thing must our rigs contradict that?

Yes, happily we get to make our choices.

We're being told here it is elegant and beautiful. Maybe it looks better in person. My first impression visually from the photo is of uber glossy paneled in plasticized wood.

As far as the Klingon Holodeck goes, we can always blame the Romulans ...

Sheldon Cooper would certainly approve of both Kharmas and of the new Vivids :D

Hi Amir,

Did you get a chance to visit Metaxas& Sins Room?
I saw Metaxas tape machines in H4 but there was no demo room, just tape machines on the desk.

Pics with harsh show lighting can be deceiving. No one that has seen Lorenzo speakers in person has ever commented about "plastic wood". Comments are usually about high level fine furniture grade appearance.

Cabinets covered with natural wood veneer, rigorously selected for its beauty and durability, and 100% handcrafted by a fourth-generation craftsman whose family has worked since 1888 with traditional techniques that have become legendary.LM1-Elm-Root-SIDE.pnglm1-copia-2.png

This is true, I saw them yesterday. If you like the style this is amazing.

Sure, the style is not for everyone, not many speakers are for everyone:) One thing about the Lorenzo is that they are BIG and that surely does not work for many people. Expensive as well. For those that do like this type of style for a speaker and along with 96db efficiency they are worth taking a look at, along with the other 1000 speakers that are available these days. Fun part is that you can see most of them and hear them here at Munich.

Found 'em!!! Speakers that we all must have!! Brought to you by a company called IXOOST, made in Ferrari land.
No idea about price. Gotta love it.

Hi all,
Here is the 4K video of 28rooms, more than 3 hours recorded by Totaldac using Schoeps omnidirectional microphones and a studio interface.

Wadax.

Sounds good nice practical system.
Could have used even better speakers though ,like my latest own design for a fraction of the price
