Guessing father at about 5'10" or so -- hope mom is tall.

May not matter much .. Allan Iverso was listed at 6'1", my height, but we were in the same hotel once and he looked to me more like 5'11" .. Tiny Archibald, Spudd Webb, that kid in Orlando are all below 6 ft... if the kid has the mental make-up to take the rigors of the NBA he will land there ..
