...and not feeling sorry!

I got a DeHavilland pre/power combination for evaluation at home, these are direct-heated SETs with plenty of power even to the extent of driving my Avalons at more than decent peak levels without strain (I recorded peaks of 95dB).

The best of both worlds were my findings, transparency and tone from SETs and energy to drive a difficult speaker like mine - i went to bed at 2AM last night since I just could not stop playing tapes, vinyl, CDs and downloads.

As for the Ultraverve, all reviews are on the spot, neutral, extended and musical.

Not bad :)

Very cool! DeHavilland's Kara Chaffee is terrific.

845s Rob, yields a solid 30 Watts, pure class A, zero-feedback.

i am very happy with the move jazdoc, i was afraid this was going to be ANOTHER lateral move, but these two days have shown differently.

hearing this new set-up. I wonder how good the new Lamm SET amps should sound!, or the new Absolare amps in my room for that matter!..I am very happy with this setup right now.
