It is always a joy for a speaker designer to have at his disposal excellent amplifiers like the Gryphon Colosseum and the Viola Labs Legacy monoblocks at his disposal to do demo's with.

We played both systems about equally today. The Gryphon is more dynamic and articulate, while the Viola was more relaxed and spacious. What each prefers may depend on time of day, mood and material. Best to just buy both..... the Genesis 2 Juniors shows everything up the chain.

Congrats, Gary...sounds like a great launch today...very interesting to read about the Colosseum vs another very well respected amp. Good to know. And good luck!

I love the Burmester sound too..... and that's primarily the reason that we demo'ed so much together with Burmester in the US. It was later that I offered Genesis distribution to the US Burmester distributor.

I have not heard the 909 Mk5 Monos, but a few months ago, we demo'ed the G2Jr with the 909 during the New York Audio show.

We had the full rack of Burmester then.

In the factory, during one of our parties, we had the G1.2 with 911 monos, but not 909 monos.

The "problem" with the G1.2 is that you get to hear the sound of everything you put ahead of the chain. So, you will get the Burmester sound if the system is full Burmester.

Here's the third TechDAS Air Force One delivered in Malaysia as a result of this launch. It's overtaken the delivery of Genesis 2 Juniors, so I need our Malaysian distributor to ramp up Genesis :D

If Santa can delay his arrival a little bit longer, the fourth one should be here real soon!
