Myles-I have no idea. The Defy 7 MKII is the only Jadis amp I have ever owned.

I just remember my friend plugging in his KT77s and playing. After two years or so, he'd swap in a new set and that was it.

Was a damn good amp on the top end of the Infinity RS1bs if not a touch underpowered. BTW, I seem to remember them shipping the JA-60s with ECC803S tubes in those days. Wow!

Six 6550/KT-88s per channel and rated at under 100 watts per channel. Other companies like VAC have two KT-88s per channel and claim over 100 watts. The Defy 7 MKII is not a "pure" Class 'A' amp, but it must have quite a few Class 'A' watts.
