I've been wanting to read the book for many years now. I'll do that before I watch the movie. I agree, it looks good.

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card was my absolute favourite novel when I was a teenager. Do read the book as I thought it was excellent. Tight imaginative writing. One of the very rare novels I've read many times. However, if the movie is well done, I won't read the book before watching the movie. It will wreck the plot and character development.

On the other hand, watching the movie will also spoil the reading of the book.

I'm looking forward to the movie!!

These days, I've seen so many movies about super heroes, space, and apocalypse related themes. :)

Always been a HF fan. And still waiting for his first Oscar trophy.

I thought he was very good in 42 this year and deserves a Best Supporting nomination

Hope he gets one and win one. I practically grew up with his movies. Liked his role in The Fugitive though it was Tommy Lee Jones who won an Oscar for his role as the US Marshall.

I read this book and two more in the series about 20 years ago and enjoyed them. Didn't realize Orson Scott Card was so controversial until reading about the movie recently.
