Is the S series more efficient than the Q series? I know the Q5s and above were not particularly easy to drive. Are any of these speakers ok to run on 50-100 tube or ss watts?

Thanks,

My 100W darTZeel 108 plays the Q3 wonderfully, and did likewise with the Q7. I was told not to bother with the Q5, though.
I believe the S5 is a little tougher than the Q3, for instance.

in Alan Sircom's S5 review, says the speaker likes a lot of juice. Interesting. Seems like the Q3 is the most efficient in the line at 90dbs/5ohms.

I have listened to the Q5, Mini II, V2 and Q3 driven by the same amp. Q3 is the easiest to drive among these.
