DMC-15 vs DMC-15SS

Hi Guys,

Appreciate if someone could confirm the sonic superiority of the SS over the standard 15, which I use with my DMA250

Unfortunately only a handful of SS were ever sold here in the UK, before Spectral pulled out. If its worth the time/money & effort I would have to source one in Europe.

I too do have the DMC-15S G2. I did compare the DMC-15S and DMC-15SS at The Audio Consultants, the SS does sound better but I felt the improvement did not warrant the price hike.

When I do change the Pre it would be to move up to the DMC-30SS or the latest incarnation of the 30 series

The Spectral dealer Rhapsody in the Netherlands are selling their demo 15SS for 3900 Euro. That is a good price I think.
