Entire Beethoven's 5th - I though I would have a quick listen before breakfast - I ended up hungry as I had to listen to the whole thing, I did not want to get up midway.

There is a cello and violin video thread, not necessarily concerto, so you could post them there or here

Entire Beethoven's third, Brendel. Again, sat through

Just pick up Annie Fischer with Fricsay on DGG. Brilliant and low cost, mono extremely low cost and better than stereo (which will be a bit above 100)

Entire Milstein Bruch Concerto, available on Capitol for a few hundred. Joan Field on Telefunken is very good too.

Happy to see a reference to Ferenc Fricsay. He is wonderful with Mozart.

Wow - this is Stephen Bishop Kovacevich who changed his name to Stephen Bishop. With Colin Davis and the LSO. Philips SAL-3787

Like you said the Annie Fischer / Fricsay Concerto is $100+ on DGG. But is available on Heliodor in stereo for much less. Heliodor is a registered label name of DGG and at first was used to introduce lesser known musicians at a lower cost. I don't own anything on this label (i think). Discogs claims Heliodor releases were "technically identical" to those from Polydor. Maybe the general can tell us more.

Heliodor HS 25001 (stereo) was released in 1960, same year as DGG branding.

I do not understand the album cover photo.

Heifetz sets quite the pace vs Milstein, with Grumiaux in the middle.

He is always the fastest.

Listen to the Campoli for this though

Hi Bill - can you say more what these are. A program for three recitals with the Hungarian Philharmonia ?
After reading you guys posts about the Annie Fischer - I was digging through my stuff and pulled out a version on Qualiton. In the wallet I found this signed programme - you can imagine I was very happy to discover such a little treasure :D.
