Nice, it's a shame the ribbon technology isn't as popular within the headphone market. Would love to see more of that.
I'm sorry, I must have mixed something up. At first I thought we were talking about "true ribbon" drivers similar to those in headphones like Raal SR1A, which are quite unique in the headphone market. And you're absolutely right, planar magnetic headphones are becoming increasingly popular, and I'm there for it.It's arguably just as if not more popular in the headphone market.
Audeze, HiFi Man, Monoprice Monolith, and that's just off the top of my head.
