Really haven't gotten the chance to really hear the room yet Christian. Went in today and Mikey, the speaker killer, was listening. [Inside joke at the show] He was in the Thiel room earlier today and whatever he put on caused the ceramic midrange driver to self destruct

So half a million dollar speakers are out of the question for you ? How about the sound ???...given the quality of components and diffusers in the room, it had to sound great for a show setup.

Price is not an issue. Sound was poor. They brought their own ceiling and floor for chrissakes!

For two straight days I heard much better sound throughout CES.

It was a cut from the Wilson album Winds of War and Peace. Mikey played it for me today in the Lansche room and all was fine. Something tells me that the Thiel speaker must have been damaged in shipping. Might have happened to anyone at anytime
